42-Year-Old Reagan Gomez and Husband Celebrate Almost 25 Years of Marriage

Child actress Reagan Gomez, best known for her role on the hit 90s WB sitcom The Parent 'Hood alongside Robert Townsend, is now 42 years old and has been married for almost 25 years. She met her husband, DeWayne Turrentine Jr., at singer Brandy's Sweet 16 party back in 1995 and they married in 1999.

DeWayne is best known for being part of the 90s rap group Quo, which was produced by Michael Jackson and Teddy Riley and featured Michael Clarke Duncan in their music videos. DeWayne also had a successful modeling career, posing alongside Naomi Campbell for Vogue and doing shoots for Versace and Tommy Hilfiger.

The couple went on to start a family and are parents to daughter Scarlett and son Tyger, born in 2007 and 2011. Despite being in the same industry, the two have managed to keep their relationship low-key, focusing on their family life. In one of her posts on Twitter, Reagan showered DeWayne with praise, describing him as "a man's man, a family man, a husband, a father, a son, a brother, an uncle, an uplifter, a BOSS."

Reagan was only 14 years old when she began her acting career on The Parent 'Hood as Zaria Peterson. The show aired from 1995 to 1999. After that, she guest starred on UPN's One on One as Flex's younger sister Bernadette. She also starred in a short-lived sitcom on UPN with Holly Robinson Peete called Love Inc and another sitcom on TV One called Love That Girl.

Most recently, in 2016, she had a recurring role on the OWN television drama Queen Sugar as Chantal Williams. That show is now being syndicated on Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV.
