Meet Sydney Carter, the Best Dressed Woman's College Basketball Coach of All Time

Sydney Carter

Meet 31-year-old Sydney Carter, a former WNBA player who is now the coach for the women's basketball team at Texas A&M University, her alma mater. During the season, she is often criticized for the way she dresses. In fact, people are saying that she looks too good.

As the coach of the team, she is often seen courtside wearing stylish and colorful pantsuits, dresses, or skirt combos with killer shoes. Some admire her for her fashion choices. In fact, one of her outfits helped grow her social media following by hundreds of thousands of followers.

Others though have sharply criticized her for drawing too much attention to herself. She, however, doesn't care. She says that she is always dressed modestly and that her goal is to inspire women and girls all over the world to always look their best. "You are you and that’s all you have," she comments.

As a player, she played for the Texas A&M Aggies from 2008-to 2012 and helped lead her team to the 2010 Big 12 Tournament Championship and the 2011 National Championship. She was also a three-time team captain and was a defensive anchor for the A&M defense, earning a spot on the Big 12 All-Defensive Team in 2011 and 2012.

In 2012, she was drafted into the WNBA and went on to play for the Chicago Sky, the Atlanta Dream, and the Connecticut Sun.
