Jazmine Sullivan Wins — Not One — But Two GRAMMY Awards For Keeping R&B Alive

Singer Jazmine Sullivan's career has peaked once again after a big night for her at the 2022 GRAMMY Awards show. With 15 nominations, she took home the awards for Best R&B Album for Heaux Tales and Best R&B Performance for her song, Pick Up Your Feelings.

Earlier this year, Jazmine also won "R&B Artist of the Year" at the iHeart Radio Music Awards, and is currently on tour with upcoming performances in Houston, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Chicago.

All in all, during her successful career, she has won two Grammy Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award, two Soul Train Music Awards, three NAACP Image Awards, and two BET Awards.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jazmine was already signed to Jive Records when she was just 15-years old. In 2005, she graduated from the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts where she was a vocal music major.

She connected with Missy Elliott on various projects, and just three years later in 2008, her debut album Fearless was released which featured her hit song "Bust Your Windows", one of her most successful releases to date.
